These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Stara Yoga website located at www.starayoga.com and all associated services, including on-demand yoga classes, live sessions, and meditation content (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or accessing any part of the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Stara Yoga is operated from Australia. These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and purchase a subscription. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are accessing the Service on behalf of a minor, you accept full responsibility for their use.
Stara Yoga offers membership tiers (currently New Moon, Full Moon, and Supermoon) that provide access to different levels of content. Subscription fees are billed on a recurring monthly basis and are charged in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated at checkout.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Stara Yoga does not store your full card details. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your nominated payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Subscription prices are displayed clearly at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to active subscribers via email.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Profile page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain full access to the Service until that date. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for unused portions of a billing period.
If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of the charge and we will investigate promptly.
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including any applicable consumer guarantees.
Yoga and movement practices carry an inherent risk of physical injury. The content provided on Stara Yoga is for general wellness and educational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Before beginning any new exercise programme, you should consult a qualified healthcare professional, particularly if you have any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or are pregnant. By participating in classes, you acknowledge that you do so at your own risk and that Stara Yoga is not liable for any injury, illness, or loss arising from your participation.
All content on the Service — including videos, audio recordings, written materials, images, and branding — is owned by or licensed to Stara Yoga and is protected by Australian and international copyright law. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your personal, non-commercial use only.
You must not download, copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must not share your account with others or allow simultaneous use of your subscription by multiple people. If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, please contact us immediately.
You agree not to use the Service in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or disruptive. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to: attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service; scraping or harvesting content; impersonating another person; or using the Service for any commercial purpose without our written consent.
We aim to provide a reliable and consistent service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of planned downtime where possible.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stara Yoga and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 30 days preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
